Thiruvalla

Tiruvalla is a city and a headquarters located in the district Taluk Pathanamthitta in the State of Kerala in the south of India , which occupies an area of ​​27.94 km2.

The city has a tropical climate with temperatures ranging from highs of 34.4 ° C in the summer and a low of 18.5 ° C in the winter with a healthy precipitation of 3040 mm. The city extends over a geographical area of ​​27.94 km² with a population of 56,828 as of 2001 India census. Thiruvalla is on the western border of Pathanamthitta District. The municipal boundaries of the city are Thirumoolapuram, Kattod, Kuttapuzha and Manipuzha. Previously, some areas of Changanacherry were present parts of Tiruvalla Taluk. However, The boundaries of the Taluk are Varattar Bridge in the south, Lappalam in the north, Pullad in the east and Neerattupuram situated west in Alappuzha district. Pullad is the last point of Thiruvalla East area and it is in the Panchayath Koipuram.
