This trek gives you an insightful journey into various ecological zones of  the great Himalayas. At the onset of the trail you will witness thick temperate forests of pine, as you gain altitude you will cross jungles of Morinda spruces, pindrow firs and Deodar trees.

As you ascend to an altitude of 11000 ft. you would be greeted by expansive lush green meadows dotted with shrubs and wild flowers. These high altitude grasslands are nestling the crystal clear lakes flanked by snow-covered mountains.

The gurgling streams, numerous valleys and forests of Maple lead you to Shekdur, gentle but rocky terrain will reach you to Nichnai with spell binding views of snow clad peaks.

The journey continues to Alpine lake before Nichnai pass. After crossing grasslands covered with wild Iris flowers you will reach Vishansar lake.

The  enchanting trek route takes you to Krishansar Alpine lake and  further to Gadsar. Cross further grasslands through bewitching mountains you will reach Satsar Lakes. From here you start descending  towards Nandkol Lake, nestled in the middle of  scenic coniferous forests.

Further descend in the valley leads to Gangbal lake. Finally you will arrive at the heritage site and picturesque village of Naranag. The fast flowing stream enchants this location.
