Jaipur Zoo

Jaipur Zoo is a zoo in Jaipur city of Rajasthan state in India . The Zoo was opened in 1877 and is located within Ram Niwas Garden. It is divided into two parts: one for mammals and the other for birds and reptiles. Nearly 71 species of different birds and animals from all over the world can be seen here. The Zoo is open to public everyday except on Tuesday.

Animals at the zoo include spotted deer and Sambar deer, lions, tigers, white tigers, panthers, leopards, foxes, jackals, hyenas, brown bears, and black bear. The zoo includes a crocodile breeding farm. A separate section of the zoo is home to birds including ducks, geese, parrots, pheasants, lorries, and peacocks. Other birds that migrate through the bird section include painted storks, pelicans, cranes and black-necked storks.
