Calicut International Airport (IATA: CCJ, ICAO: VOCl), also known as Karipur Airport, is an international airport serving the city of Calicut, Kerala , India . The airport is located in Karipur, Malappuram district about 28 km (17 miles) from the train station and 25 km Kozhikode (16 miles) from the city of Malappuram, with the nearest train station is to Feroke. Air India Express has a base at the airport. It is the seventh most active airport in the country in terms of international passenger traffic and the busiest airport ninth in India in terms of overall passenger traffic.

The airport was given the status of international airport on February 2, 2006, Which would pave the way for the improvement of infrastructure for the handling of international flights. It is the third busiest airport in Kerala.

Due to the recent billion rupees upgrading existing facilities, the infrastructure at Calicut International Airport has received foreign airlines.
