Leh is the heart of the district of Leh, capital of Ladakh , in the state of Jammu and Kashmir , India . It is located in the Indus River Valley, at the crossroads of the ancient trade routes of Kashgar, Tibet and Kashmir . It’s a small town, easy to get to most places on foot.
